[2010 Armour Baseball] Armour Baseball Tryout Announcement!

Armour Baseball tryouts for the 2010 season will be held August 16, 2009. For 2010, Armour Baseball is growing and will field teams in the 8-14 year old age groups, including two 14 year old teams. Players must register for tryouts and will receive an e-mail with tryout time and location on August 12. Age groups listed below refer to player ages as of May 1, 2010. [13U Rocky Mountain Armour] TC State Champions!

Congratulations to Rocky Mountain Armour for winning the 13 D1 division of the Triple Crown Colorado State Championships! Armour went 6-1 for the tourney and finished with a strong performance on the final day.

[12U Armour Baseball] Strong Showing in Cooperstown

Congratulations to 12U Armour Baseball for finishing in the top 8 out of 104 teams in the week #6 tourney at Cooperstown Dreams Park! They played some great baseball, hit a lot of homers and knocked off the #1 seed. We're so proud of you!!

[12U Armour Baseball] Armour Knocks Off #1 Seed!

Congratulations to 12U Armour for a great win over the #1 seed Germantown Giants to advance to the quarterfinals in Cooperstown! Behind strong pitching and a potent offense, Armour came to play early.

Quarterfinal Game: Today at 10:00 am MDT v. TBD. This is a webcam game, so make sure to check it out! Armour will be the visiting team in the blue uniforms.

After finishing pool play with a strong 5-1 record, 12U Armour Baseball is seeded 16th out of 104 teams and heading into bracket play full of confidence.

All Armour Baseball teams continue elimination play today in the USSSA State Tournament today. The wet weather has been causing chaos with the schedule, but all teams are hanging tough and are ready to go!

[2009 12U Armour Baseball] 12U Armour Starts Strong in State Tourney

The 12U Armour team started strong in it's bid to capture the USSSA State Championship in 2009. In pool play, Armour used their offensive explosiveness to beat the Colorado Bulldogs 10-2 and the Colorado Blazers 12-4.

This leaves Armour at the top of their pool and positions them well for elimination play, which begins on the 4th of July. Let's hope the weather holds and Armour continues their march to the championship!

[2009 10U Armour Baseball] 10U Armour Begins State Tourney with Tough Loss

10U Armour Baseball began the USSSA State Tournament with a 4-1 loss to a tough Dakota Ridge Fear team. Great effort against the top seed in the tourney! Watch for them to come back strong on the 4th of July against the Colorado Hawks.

[2009 13U Rocky Mountain Armour] RMA Off to Good Start at USSSA State

13U Rocky Mountain Armour won it's first game of the state tournament in a close game with the Colorado Bruins. It was a hard fought battle with the Armour coming out on top 8-7. Armour started it's second game, but was postponed by rain in the second inning.

RMA provided live updates on Armour Twitter during the game with the Bruins. It was a great first effort in providing real time information of Armour games. It was an exciting game to follow... in person or through Armour Twitter.
